Quick and Healthy Meals for One or Two from Trader Joe’s

For those of you who are local, I am teaching ‘Quick and Healthy Meals for One or Two from Trader Joe’s’ Friday March 31 in the morning with the City of Walnut Creek Recreation Department.


Friday March 31

Walnut Creek Civic Park (behind Civic Park and next to the Walnut Creek library)

10:30 AM- 12:30 PM
$40.00 plus $7.00 lab fee (includes cookbook)

Here is the class description:

“Have you decided that you want to eat healthier? Want some great ideas and simple recipes to make it easier? Discover healthy products you can simply ‘heat and eat’, as well as how to use a few ingredients to create delicious, healthy meals fast. You will leave with specific healthy product information and simple, yet flavorful recipes. Lunch will be served as participants sample meals demonstrated and presented. Jamie is the author of 4 cookbooks, including her new book, Livin’ Lean with Trader Joe’s. $7.00 supply fee due at class. Instructor: Jamie Davidson.”

Demonstration and sampling will include gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan and other healthy meals.

You really can find whole foods and healthy ingredients to make healthy meals at Trader Joe’s. Not everything is healthy there but I will show you what is and what you can do to make delicious meals quickly.
